The Royal Chinook East in Yachats Oregon

The Royal Chinook East is right in the heart of Yachats and an easy walk to all the restaurants/bars, shops, and galleries in town. Nestled across from Yachats State Park, this home has a lovely view of the Pacific Ocean.

Enjoy morning coffee, an afternoon beverage, or sip an evening drink from your balcony deck off the living room, where you'll see Cape Perpetua to the South and the Pacific Ocean to the West. You'll relax and be lulled by the sound of the crashing waves.

The living room is on the second floor with an ocean view. There is a wood burning stove and white leather sectional with a chaise lounge. Free wireless high speed internet and a wall mounted LCD TV help make this home extra luxurious.

The full gourmet kitchen has concrete counter tops, a dishwasher, a full range, microwave, ice and water dispensing refrigerator/freezer, stainless steel pans, cooking utensils, glassware, dishware, silverware, toaster, and a coffee maker.

The master bedroom is on the second floor. A king size bed can be separated into two extra long twin beds. Just let us know in the comment section after you make your reservation if you prefer twins to the king. The comforter and pillows are down filled. The TV has built in DVD and VHS players.

The second bedroom is on the first floor. There is also a king size bed that can be separated into two twins. Let us know in the comment section of your reservation form if you wish to have it converted to twins. The beds are very comfortable, with both down and foam pillows. The mattresses are of the highest quality medium firm latex foam, with a down comforter. There is a TV with VCR and DVD players.

Sleeps 4; 2 Bedrooms each with a King Bed (or it can be separated into two extra long twin beds); 2 full baths.

We were really pleased with the Chinook East. It has a nice layout, is close to everything in town, has a good kitchen, was clean, and accepted our dog. Plus the weather was great. Loved it.

The Johnsons 

The proximity to the beach surprised me - it was better than the pictures indicated! The beach was only a 20 second walk from the home where we watched whale pods and sunsets every night. And of course lots of beachcombing among the waves. There was a little grocery store just up the road, which had everything we needed. The house (Chinook East) was great - lots of space and very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed - especially like happy hour on the deck… Overall - a wonderful place to stay!

We loved our accommodations! Spotless, not musty as many coastal rentals can be, lovely view, quiet neighborhood, convenient location, nice to garage the car. We'd love to come back! Questions quickly answered by phone or online by the managers, and flexibility with the completion of the laundry. Thank you!
