The Arbor House South is a large 2 story duplex home that sits right on a lush rocky shore facing the Pacific ocean and steps from a Smelt Sands Park, a sandy beach. Part of a duplex unit, you'll have privacy and views. It has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and will sleep 8 guests (or rent it together with Arbor House North, there is room for up to 16 guests!)

The ocean views from all 3 bedrooms and both living rooms are spectacular! Walk along the State Park 804 Trail and enjoy the ocean spraying up along the coastline. This extraordinary part of the coastline is full of the natural lava tubes where the force of the waves pushes the water up through the tubes and creates a spectacular view any time of year! The home itself is two stories with an oversized one-car garage. The main living level of the home is upstairs. All rooms, except the bathrooms have ocean views! Yachats is a beautiful place to visit and is known as a quiet coastal village with small galleries, gift shops and restaurants. Only 30 minutes North of Florence, making a visit to the casino very easy. Newport, Oregon is located 45 minutes North where you'll find the Oregon Coast Aquarium, Newport Bayfront, Marine Discovery Tours and so much more!

We’ve stayed in many different rental units in Yachats – and now we know – this is the home perfect for us. We plan to return here often. This weekend was the dedication of the new beach safety marker, done in memory of Jack & Connor, two Eugene young men swept off the rock bridge and drowned in 2011. The sculpture is a beautiful addition to the beach and hopefully it may save other lives. Thank you for sharing your home. It’s welcoming, comfortable, spacious, well-equipped – and, oh, yes – the views! We had two sunny days and put the side porch to good use.

Arbor House South was just as advertised. We've been going to Yachats 2-3 times a year for 8 years always looking for the next best place to stay. We think we've now found it. We'll always want to stay at this home.
