We stayed at A Stones Throw in Yachats, OR last weekend and had a fabulous time. It was my Moms 60th birthday and also a perfect excuse to break the news that my parents had their first grand baby on the way! The house was beautifully updated and had a fitting beachy theme. The beds were super comfortable and the two pull out couches were better than expected. This home fit 7 people with no issues. The management company had someone on call throughout our stay if we needed them for anything, but I was glad there was no need to bug her. Thankfully, they welcomed our doggos too so they could enjoy the beach with the rest of us! I would recommend Sweet Homes to someone looking for a coastal getaway. There are tons of great houses to choose from. If I had one negative to say, it's that we wished the grass in the backyard had been mowed. It would've been easier to clean-up after our pets... Already wanting to go back!
We greatly enjoyed "A Stone's Throw" for its location, comfortable beds, easy access to the beach and Yachats. The two sitting rooms were unexpectedly useful and we enjoyed the open kitchen and dining room. We spent most of our time on the beach with our kids and dog, one evening out to eat at the Yachats Brewery (amazing place!) and the last morning the kids enjoyed participating in the Yachats beach cleanup. Beaches south of the town are amazing, too many to list.
