Candy Shops and Sweet Treats on the Central Oregon Coast

Maybe it’s because Halloween is coming, and stacks of candy are now a feature at all the local supermarkets, but we’ve been thinking of the variety of Candy Shops here on the Central Oregon coast. It’s the perfect time of year to get out there and indulge the sweet tooth, explore, and try some samples!

From Florence in the south to Lincoln City in the north, there are plenty of options. This list includes our favorites. Let us know your go-to shops for sweet treats on the Oregon coast in the comments.

Florence:
Wind Drift Gallery: Large selection of award-winning chocolates, candies, and caramel corn is located at the front end of the T-shirt gallery.

Yachats:
Toppers Ice Cream & Candy: Tillamook and Umpqua ice creams, shakes, and sundaes. Full espresso bar & teas. Housemade fudge & chocolates. Saltwater taffy and other candies, traditional & sugar-free.

Seal Rock:
Indulge Sweets: Features handmade fudge, brownies, cookies, cakes, caramels, and caramel corn.

Newport:
Newport Candy Shoppe: Salt water taffy made fresh in the store! They also have a chocolate factory on the other side of the bridge connected to Off the Hook restaurant.
2 Kids Candy Store: Unique and retro candies plus a huge selection of jelly beans.
Republic of Candy: Great stop for imported sweets from France, Poland, Egypt, Dublin, and New Zealand just to name a few.
Doodlebugs: Ice cream and miscellaneous pre-packaged candies, including seasoned Crick-ettes snacks.

Depoe Bay:
Ainslee’s Salt Water Taffy: Makes salt water taffy on site and you’ll also find other tasty treats like their signature caramel corn, crunchy peanut brittle, and homemade fudge.

Lincoln City:
The Chocolate Frog: Handmade chocolates, caramels, toffee and candies, gifts, and goodies from around the world.
Read’s Homemade Candies: Homemade candies, including taffy and assortments of chocolates such as crèmes, truffles, velvets, and caramels.
