Depoe Bay
Oregon Whale Watch Week Contrasting with the cozy nature of the season, witnessing the awesome power of nature up close (or at a safe distance with binoculars) can add to the overall experience of winter on the Oregon Coast. Depoe Bay Lights Experience Depoe Bay’s annual synchronized light and music show! The show music is broadcast on FM 92.1 on your car radio, or you can now listen to the show on your cell phone (PulseMesh on Apple or Android app stores) as you drive through the light display. Newport
Yaquina Bay Lighted Boat Parade Held the first Saturday of December each year, this is a fantastic tradition and a great way to start your holiday season! There are lots of ways to enjoy the Lighted Boat Parade — whether you decorate and enter your own boat, watch from the piers or one of many restaurants along the Bayfront, or join a watch party at the Yaquina Bay Yacht Club, this will be an evening you won’t forget! 13th Annual Newport Christmas Craft Bazaar Drop in on this festive holiday gift show just in time for gift-giving season. Shop small and shop local from more than 35 vendors selling one-of-a-kind, handmade items. In addition to artisan crafts and gifts, you’ll find pastries and other sweet treats available for purchase (we think delicious treats make the best gifts!) Waldport
Waldport Christmas Tree Lighting Join friends old and new for a festive afternoon and evening in Waldport! Doors open at 1:00pm with complimentary warm beverages from Froth Coffee Truck and tasty holiday treats. Festivities will include holiday carolers from Waldport First Baptist Church, artisans selling handmade holiday crafts and gifts, a visit from Santa Claus at 3:30pm, Oregon Coast Chorus performance at 5:00pm, and the Official Lighting of the Tree at 5:30pm. Yachats
Winter Festival Visit Yachats to join in the winter fun at Winter Festival! Gather around for the annual Yachats tree lighting and shop the vendor fair at the Yachats Commons for unique, locally made holiday gifts. At the Pavilion behind the Commons, listen to the holiday sounds of the Barbershop Quartet performing from 4-5pm. Wreath making classes and other merry and bright events will be happening throughout the weekend, check the Yachats Chamber social media for details. Florence
Victorian Christmas at Heceta Head Lighthouse Come one, come all to the 28th Annual Victorian Christmas Open House at the Heceta Head Historic Keeper’s House. Enjoy the beautifully decorated house, visits from Santa, and local musicians playing holiday favorites! Heceta Lighthouse Gift shop will also be open for last minute gifts. Holiday lights will be on display starting Dec.1. December 14 – 22 on Saturdays and Sundays, 4:00 – 7:00 PM. Please note: Parking is $5 per vehicle at the Heceta Head Lighthouse State Scenic Viewpoint. Shuttle service to the Keeper’s House will be available for free. The State Park will open the historical lighthouse as well, so bring your flashlight and jacket to explore it after dark!
