Omg. This place was worth every penny. We were stunned the minute we walked in to the property the views are stunning, property is so spacious, master suite is amazing. Just absolutely perfect. We cannot put in words how much we enjoyed our stay. It felt we had the beach to ourselves right on property.

Overlooking the most impressive beach I’ve ever been to. Easy access and just enough driftwood to build a great beach fire. The great room has a solid wall of windows with access to a large deck with lots of seating.

This house was a 100 out of 10. The view and location couldn’t be better. The kitchen and house were well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. And Sweet Homes was so easy to communicate with and extremely responsive. I can’t wait for my next stay with them!!

It was perfect for our group: a 94 year old who needed a bathroom next to her bed, a young family with 3 boys, a couple with 2 dogs and us - the grandparents, parents and daughter of all. It's a spectacular home on a spectacular private beach. What's not to love? We all got in the hot tub together in the morning and loved cooking in the well equipped kitchen!

Every year our family of three generations takes a trip together. This year we came to Dancing Seal. It was the best yet. The house was perfect for us: the right bed configuration, magnificent view, easy beach access, dog friendly. We loved the beach. It was the best walking beach I've ever been on, and I’ve tried many! The house is in great shape and well equipped. We appreciated the little touches: salt and pepper, olive oil spray, plenty of TP and paper towels, dish soap, even extra poop bags for the dogs!. Our favorite was the sectional in the living room! Our whole family of eight gathered comfortably there each night to watch the sunset. We utilized all the amenities: hot tub, pool table, foosball, as well as local attractions (the aquarium is a lovely treat!). Management was communicative (we didn’t need them during our stay since everything was in such good shape). I’d give this place more than five stars if I could.

We had a lovely family weekend here to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday and my parents 60th wedding anniversary. The views are unbeatable and access to the beach is right there! We were a group of 10 adults and never felt cramped. Plenty of space to spread out. Don't forget to check out the garage, lots of games! You are off the 101 so I would recommend you back into the driveway. If you are in one of the two rooms facing the 101 you will hear significant road noise but bring a fan and shut the curtains extra tight and you will be totally fine.

The Dancing Seal was the perfect location for our family group including great grandparents, toddlers, and dogs! We loved being beach front and the access ramp worked perfectly. If you have mobility concerns or safety with little ones, know that there are a lot of stairs in the house. The kitchen was well stocked and everything worked great! We will definitely book this home again!

This house was very nice and had a really amazing view. We literally swam in the ocean everyday and then straight to the hot tub. It was so easy. The pictures were very accurate but honestly it was even prettier in real life. We made some pretty awesome meals every evening watching the sunset! We were a big group and there was plenty of room. Also, I have to mention there was a crazy queen size bed bump out upstairs that feels like you’re sleeping in the ocean! Everyone wanted that bed. I would definitely come back to this house.

Plenty of room for 10 adults to gather together comfortably and engage in a range of activities from cooking elaborate, multi-course gourmet meals, decorating Ukrainian Easter eggs, enjoying an adult Easter egg hunt to a mindfulness/ meditation session overlooking the ocean, and a table read of a play complete with props! The third floor cocktail lounge, with spectacular views, provided the ideal space to enjoy creative libations and tasty hors d’oeuvres at the end of each day. We found a large, 8-foot folding table in the garage, placed it on the third floor and set up a crafting area where people could spend time working on their Ukrainian eggs throughout our 4-day stay. The kitchen was better stocked than most vacation rental homes including: An electric hand-mixer, large stock pot for making soups, knife block with knives, many Pyrex baking dishes, serving bowls and platters. If you are a serious cook, definitely bring your own knives and special equipment. The bar has a variety of glasses for wine, beer, etc. but if you are particular about your stemware, and/or serving some special drinks, bring your own. Also, bring ice. The bar is truly a bar including a glass mat, wells for fruit slices, etc. There’s even a cocktail recipe book. We brought our own puzzle that we set up on the living room table, however, there was a good collection of puzzles, and games (including Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit) in the downstairs game area. Though we didn’t use them, there is a ping pong table, air hockey table, and foosball table in the garage. We didn’t use those because it was too cold and not a nicely finished space to hang out in. Unfortunately, three of the drawers in the kitchen were broken and there was a roof leak in the living room. We reported this to management and it all should be repaired. Brianna, the property manager is very friendly. Overall, we had a fantastic time even though it was cold and rainy, and we spent 3 of our 4 days indoors. A great vacation rental house.

The home was very clean upon arrival. Great layout with bedrooms and bathrooms on all three floors. Our family was able to spread out and get some 'quiet time' and have some great time together in the kitchen and living room to cook and enjoy time together. The kitchen and bar are very well stocked - plenty of glassware, dinnerware, flatware, utensils, bakeware and pans. The hot tub, with spa towels, was an added bonus. The view from all three floors is amazing and access to the beach was very easy right from the property (no one in our group had mobility issues). This property is right off Hwy 101 and the traffic noise was a bit noticeable during the early morning hours. A white noise machine to cover up this noise while sleeping would be helpful. All in all, this is a great property and we would definitely stay there again.

Quite possibly the best experience I've ever had with a rental house. It was exactly as described and pictured, only even more beautiful in person. We were a group of 14 adults getting together to celebrate a 41st birthday, and everyone had a wonderful time. We had several professional chefs in our group and we all agreed that the kitchen was the best stocked and most user-friendly kitchen we've ever found in a rental house. Everything was perfect, from the communication with the hosts, to the extra blankets for getting cozy on the couch, to the incredible walk in shower in the master suite, to the very well appointed kitchen, to the breathtaking views of the ocean. Property was great, good location just outside of newport, and a close drive to the other towns just south of newport. The game room in the garage was quite a nice surprise! Also, despite being just off HWY 101, the home felt very private and there was no noticable road noise. Would stay again!

This is a beautifully decorated home in a fun circus theme with a multitude of amenities for all ages AND it has absolutely stunning beach/ocean views from three sides of the home. The house was well equipped/stocked, well maintained, and thoroughly clean upon our arrival. Our group included persons ranging from 22-86, and we had such a fun, relaxing time. The home is right on Highway 101, but the sound from the highway was minimal. The sound from the constant waves was wonderful. Access to the beach was a bit difficult for my 82 year old mother, so she only did once. The younger ones had no problem, and it was wonderful to be right on the beach. My 86 year old dad doesn't get around easily, and I chose this house because once he climbed the stairs to get to the 2nd floor main level, he could stay on that level the whole time, enjoying the endless ocean views, the large TV, have access to the kitchen, and sleep in a bedroom with adjoining bathroom on the same level. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend to anyone needing a large home.

We loved staying here. Minutes away from seal rock and Newport. This house comfortably fit 6 couples and could fit a few more on the pull out couches. The property was well kept. Would definitely recommend and come back.

We had our extended merged family of 13 gathered together at the Dancing Seal. Plenty of room for all of us to gather and each remain separate if we wanted to. We enjoyed the closeness of the neighboring towns and the ability to go souvenir shopping. The beach was so easily accessible, although we couldn't have a bonfire to gather around. We understood due to the burning bans and fire season. All and all a relaxing trip.

We enjoyed a week-long family reunion here. There was lots of space to spread out and the location is pleasant with easy beach access. The house is close to Newport and local attractions like the aquarium, parks and lighthouse. The bedrooms are comfortable and the master bathroom is great. The other bathrooms are a bit dated and/or on the small side, but okay. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, pans, decent appliances, etc. The coffee maker broke and the property manager dropped off a new one right away. One suggestion would be a better/larger grill. We had planned to use it but it just wasn't sufficient for our large group. Overall, a great place for a beach getaway for a large group.

This place really has amazing views and is so homey. The kitchen has plenty of utensils and cookware. Hulu and Netfilx available on the TVs. There was even a pack and play for the baby to sleep in. Bring your own baby gates for the stairs, though. We brought one, but could have used two. Great place to stay! Definitely will be back!

The house was fantastic! Walking up and down the beach was great. The location is ideal. The house itself was very clean and had the most amazing views! Plus the kitchen was perfectly stocked and everything was as described. Sweet Homes seems to own a few properties in the area. Communication with them were always prompt and professional. Very spacious, fit 2 families with 7 people and 2 dogs easily. Beach views are amazing. Balcony furniture could stand to be updated. Master bed/bath upstairs is ridiculous. We offered it to the other couple we stayed with to that is reason enough to book a return stay. Perfect location minutes from the fish market and the bakery at Seal Rock. Will be back for sure.

Dancing Seal is a fantastic house in a great location. The property manager was extremely responsive to our questions, concerns and requests. The house is located on a beautiful beach.  The home was well stocked. Our group of thirteen (ranging from 8 mo to 81) was impressed with having several different hangout zones on each level to play games, watch tv or have quiet time. The bathroom vanities and fixtures are dated but clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would stay there again.

This home was perfect for our family reunion. There was more than enough room for our family to spread out and also to gather. We had a glorious time and this beautiful home was the icing on the cake! The kitchen is wonderful to work in and so well equipped and stocked with any thing you could need! The pool table, Foosball and shuffle board in the garage was the scene of many tournaments. The bed rooms were so colorful and all the beds so comfortable. Every couple (four) and all six grandchildren had a bed to sleep in. Because this home is right on the beach, the kids could play in the sand in front of the house and we could see them from the decks. This made for a more pleasurable experience for them and us. I want to thank whomever designed the beach access path. Because of my back and bad knee, I was able to go up and down to the beach with ease. The only thing we could say that was wrong was that the lighting in the garage could use some improvement, hard to see over the pool table as the bulbs were out. And because we didn't get to meet with our property manager when we first arrived, we didn't know how to work the video arcade system. Perhaps some written instructions would help. This happy house gave all of us a wonderful, magical beach reunion and we are so thankful for that.
