This fabulous ocean view home, nestled on a hill amongst forested pines, offers sweeping ocean views from its spacious great room and all three bedrooms. Moolack Lodge reflects a contemporary yet rustic aesthetic, highlighting the cathedral ceilings, expansive floor to ceiling windows and west facing deck. You will be wowed with the natural beauty that surrounds the home as well as the spectacular ocean views. This home is perfectly located on a quiet, private drive and features 3472 square feet of living space. This beautiful log home has a spacious and open floor plan, with the living room showcasing a large, inviting gas fireplace which will keep you warm and cozy on stormy days. The open space flows into the dining room which boasts a large dining table, great for friends and family to enjoy time together. Open the doors and enjoy the outdoors while watching the sun sink beyond the western horizon over the Pacific.

Three bedrooms on the main floor include the large, private primary suite with its own door to the deck, ocean views and ensuite bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower and jetted tub. The other two bedrooms, located at the other side of the house, have ocean views and their own access to the deck as well as 2 bathrooms across the hall, each to call their own. Downstairs there is a large recreation room with a pool table that can be converted into a ping pong table, a bar, and a separate space to watch television. In addition, there is a futon offering an extra sleeping option, a full bath and laundry, making this a comfy retreat for up to 7 beachgoers.

Lounge on the upper level deck as you listen to the waves and enjoy the coastal breeze, sea air and views of the ocean. Build you own fire in the firepit and roast marshmallows or put together gooey s'mores while making memories of your time at Moolack Lodge. Take time to explore the wonderful Moolack Beach located across the highway. Search for shells, agates and fossils while strolling along the beach. Conveniently located just north of the active fishing port of Newport, you will find many activities to keep you busy, including Yaquina Head lighthouse and Natural Area, the historic bayfront where you can enjoy fresh seafood either cooked to perfection onsite or bought off a boat for you to prepare at home, or hop over to the Nye Beach district for additional restaurants and shopping enjoyment.

We had a wonderful stay at the Moolack Lodge. The house is just as it is pictured, and is spacious and clean. We cooked every evening and found the kitchen was well stocked, and the grill was an awesome bonus. The location was remote, but perfectly located to walk to Moolack beach which was absolutely beautiful. There was even a pair of nesting bald eagles on the road leading up to the house! The communication with Sweet Homes was on point and responsive. They brought us small items we were in need of and answered all our questions and requests. Thank you!

This house is wonderfully spacious, well stocked, and has a beautiful view of the ocean. We loved its location between Newport and Depoe Bay. Would highly recommend!

The property was as described. It was an excellent view of the ocean. The pictures were up to date and reflected the property as it existed. The house has in-floor heating upstairs, and everything worked great. The neighborhood was tranquil. We did not see or hear a neighbor the entire time we were there. The only downside to the home was that the water heater was a little small for a home with four bathrooms. We had to time our showers, or we would be forced to take a cold one. But once we figured this out, it was not a huge issue. It would have been nice to have a note about the water heater somewhere in the home, so we could have known about this issue before taking our morning showers the first day. Overall it was a magnificent stay—one of my favorite rentals on the Oregon coast so far.

This place met all expectations and then some . It’s private , large . Plenty of room to move about .sitting out on the deck so nice .bedrooms were perfect, ocean views .nice clean kitchen , so close Newport , variety of beach’s, had a great time !!!.

This is truly a beautiful home and perfectly situated...close to beautiful beaches (loved South Beach and visiting the lighthouse and tide pools). About 30 minutes south to Yachats...fun day visit and hike to Thors Well. The beds are super comfortable and an abundance of towels for the bathrooms. The evening sunsets and picturesque views are stunning! Just loved relaxing on the deck with a glass of wine listening to the ocean waves. Just perfect!!!
