Let tranquility set in at Sand & Sky as you begin to relax and explore the winding dunes of sand and savor the endless sky that blends with the sea. This wonderful home is perched in the sand where you will be immersed in the peaceful serenity of the beach, the smell of saltwater and the sound of the waves.

This bright open concept home, with a wonderful wall of large west facing windows, is bright and airy while offering gorgeous views of the ocean, sand and sky. The open concept is perfect for family and friends to be able to enjoy each other's company while playing board games, cooking or watching a favorite movie. Watch a winter storm roll in while cozying up to the wood burning fireplace. Enjoy the soothing sound of waves on the beach as you fall asleep in one of the three bedrooms located down the hall. One bedroom has a King bed and the other two have Queen beds which will provide you the privacy and comfort that you need! The three bedrooms share a full bath in the hallway.

Miles of sandy beach are right in front of Sand & Sky and access couldn't be any easier! You will have a fun time watching for seals and birds, collecting shells, building sandcastles, flying kites, and walking on the beach during your stay. Enjoy a game of ping pong or foosball and sing your heart out with the karaoke machine!

Guests of this home also have access to the Bayshore swimming pool on a daily fee basis. The swimming pool (open seasonally in the summer) schedule of swim times will be posted at pool entrance. Renters must provide their rental agreement and photo identification to gain access. Access may be restricted during busy times.

Please note: Because the home sits in the dune on the south-side of Bayshore, the streets and driveway often fill with blown sand.

We stayed in Sand and Sky in July 2023. It was a great property and we enjoyed our stay! Location The home is in a really quiet neighbourhood and has beach/dune access. The access is important in the neighbourhood as if you don’t have a house with beach access you have to go to the public accesses. There are lots of public accesses but having your own access is nice. The beach was massive - it’s about 1000ft of dunes before the beach. It is not a high traffic beach. Really felt like we had it to ourselves which is great The house is well equipped with kitchen appliances as well as plates/spoons/knives. The grill worked great. You could host a big dinner here for sure. We didn’t try the fireplace but it looked to be in good condition. The games/books/music are all great and the games in the garage are fun as well. It’s surprisingly well equipped. It felt more like staying in someone’s home rather than a rental. The karaoke machine was also lots of fun as it functions basically as a huge Bluetooth speaker with lights. Instant party machine! The beds were all comfy especially the king in the master. One of the queens was a little firm but overall it was fine. The couch is also nice a long and someone could stretch out on that as well. There is a towel service from SweetHomes and that was a nice touch. Laundary worked great. There was soap/supplies for everything however we had trouble finding dish towels and clothes initially. Pool is only avail 1-4 daily FYI

The property is a perfect place to hangout and enjoy the beach. There is a lot of privacy and the beach wasn’t crowded at all. The house is clean and has lots of amenities. Sweet Homes Vacation Rental team is very friendly and helpful. Thanks!!

Phenomenal place to stay- you walk into a cozy, warm spotless home with soothing views of the water. The house was so clean! No sand inside anywhere. The kitchen is fully stocked with tools and utensils and an absolute joy to cook in. The area was very peaceful and quiet, with no one on the beach! I can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

We stayed a week at this magical location and it had everything and more we could’ve ever wanted!! We will definitely be back for another stay. I had left a family heirloom necklace at the house and didn’t realize it until I was half way home. The property manager and sweet homes rentals have been working with me to get it mailed back and I’m so grateful.

Hi Nice clean house for being in a sand dune area. Expected more view of ocean but saw a lot of sand dunes out the huge windows. Watching the wind continuously change the sand formations very interesting. The garage/game room was the deal for me, great to have indoor activities available in unpredictable March. If cost less would rent again.

We stayed for 2 nights and so enjoyed our time there. We found it to be well stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen as well as towels, soaps, cleaning supplies (if needed) and paper products. The house is comfortable and pleasant. We enjoyed the games in the garage as well as games, books and movies in the house. The 'beach' is just a step out the back door and the ocean was not terribly far, a bit of a walk through the sand but we enjoyed it! The sunset was absolutely breathtaking. We chose to walk down to the ocean to enjoy it but you could watch right from the house if you chose. Check in and out was made so easy with the tablet on the kitchen counter. Communication was great and we had no issues at all. Thanks so much for an enjoyable place to spend time with family!

This is the quintessential beach house. I was blown away that it's right on the sand and you can walk straight to the ocean. It has a great row of windows Oceanside so my kids were able to play right out back while I worked on a puzzle at the kitchen table. We all had two friends ask for a link based off of pictures I took! We will be back for sure!

The house was nice with a beautiful view. Small bedrooms. We always leave the rentals cleaner than when we rented, except for laundry, of course! Very nice arctic entry, which helped keep the sand out!
