My family stays on the Oregon coast each summer. It has been a 30 year tradition that our children, now adults, still look forward to. This home offered us everything we needed to feel relaxed during this family tradition. It was beautiful and had everything we needed. It was probably the best house we have stayed in to date!

We had a memorable stay at this lovely location. Ocean views were visible through most of the windows, while the bay was in site through the others. The design of the house was fun and welcoming. Plenty of space, large bedrooms, comfy beds and clean. Easy walk to the beach. Highly recommend!

This home was great for our group. Had private areas for two of our group to attend online work meetings, beach toys for the kids, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, quick walk down to the beach, sand right out of the back door for kids to play in, area for an evening campfire, and more. Everyone in our group of 6 enjoyed it!

This property was perfect for our group. We had “kids” ages 15-24 and there was plenty of space to be together, and spread out. We loved the beach out the back door and found shells and sand dollars to our heart's content. The kitchen was stocked, the BBQ was great to use, communication with the property owners was easy with a quick response. We would stay here again!

Cannot express how much we loved this beach home! It was the perfect size for our family of 8 and the location was unbeatable. We travel to Waldport often and have always wanted to stay in Bayshore. The home was clean and honestly looked even better than the online photos. There is a direct path to the ocean front from the back porch of the home, it was a little challenging to climb down the sand hill to get there but we made a new path and it worked for the remainder of our stay. Sweet homes was responsive and helpful with questions that popped up on the trip. We cannot wait to stay here again

Amazing location!! View from the top floor is of the ocean and is gorgeous, first floor is of the dunes. Kids loved playing on the dunes! It’s about a 3-4 minute walk to the water, isn’t too easy of a walk but totally doable for most in our group! The pool was much appreciated, open from 130-430 each day for rental guests and is heated to 87 degrees which was so nice! The only non updated part of the house is the kitchen but is totally usable and has every possible appliance and gadget needed! Lovely stay and responsive hosts!

We visit the Oregon beach frequently and have a large family so we try to find the right balance of size, location, and price. This property cannot be beat. It has a cool floor plan that is also functional for larger groups and our younger kids played in the sand behind the house while adults played games at the kitchen table. We loved the decor and charm this house.

Our group of 6 adults, 4 kids, and 2 dogs had a wonderful stay! We loved being able to walk out the back door and be right on the beach- which was stunning! Really enjoyed watching the sunsets. The house also has an amazing view from the sunroom.

Fantastic location perched between the ocean and the bay with direct beach access through the dunes. The house has been thoughtfully remodeled and is comfortable for a family if everyone can climb a few stairs. Plenty to explore in and around Waldport. Highly recommend this place!

Great view of the bridge and bay and the ocean. The fact it opens to the beach and the open floor plan makes it easy to have a family gathering. We all agreed this is a home we would come back to again.

This house is literally perfect in every way and you can't get a better location than this! All the bedrooms are big with nice closets. We ended putting the pack n play in the master closet for a little baby and it still felt like we were in separate rooms. The house is stocked with everything you would ever need and more. So much living space for everyone to spread out and the beach is right outside the back door. I could be washing the dishes and watching the kids in the back play in the sand. The views are to die for and there are so many windows to access those views all over the house. The beach access is insane, no long walk or a million stairs, its steps away. We will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this house, especially those with kiddos, its so easy and safe.

A fabulous house right on a 5 star beach. Lots of cosy spaces for spreading out and enjoying quiet times with amazing views. Plenty of kitchen gear for whatever you might need. House was super clean and offered 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, 7 sofas and lots of tables, chairs, etc. Wander out anytime to enjoy miles of beach walking or driver to one of the many rock studded beaches to search for agates.

This home was exactly what we needed for our large family...plenty of entertainment at the house for the stormy days that kept us indoors, and so many cozy amenities like extra blankets and two fireplaces. Our favorite part of it all was the ease of getting to the beach, and feeling confident letting our kids even head down without us for a bit, as we could pretty much keep our eyes on them at all times <3 You can't beat the views, location, closeness to all over our favorite coastal towns<3 SO glad we found this home!

What a great place!! Right on the beach just steps from the water. The place is as advertised, very clean, minutes from restaurants and close to many adventures on the coast. The area is nice and quiet, everyone around town is genuinely friendly and helpful. We've always enjoyed staying in this part of Oregon, this was our first stay in sweet homes place and it was better than expected. Plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms, the master shower was nice and huge, pool table and fuse ball in garage, sand toys, + lots of window seating and ocean views!! Everyone had plenty of space to do there own there or enjoy sitting all together in the large family room. We will definitely return to enjoy this beautiful house in beautiful Oregon! If you want to be RIGHT on the beach, this is the place for you! Spotlessly clean, bedrooms are lovely...the one overlooking the beach is stunning. The kitchen is a little outdated, but it has every single appliance and kitchen tool that you could possibly need. And the two wood-burning fireplaces make it cosy for a winter stay. Great Spot!

Already planning my next trip back! We had such a great stay. Forecast called for rain every day but we still had moments of sunshine each day to run out to the beach and let the dogs go crazy. In the middle of this global pandemic this place was perfect. The beach was basically empty every day, lots of room to feel safe and wander. Incredible sunrises and sunsets.

Wow. What a beautiful home! This house was perfect for our group. We had two babies, a toddler, and teen along with 4 couples and the house fit everyone without feeling packed. The only time we felt a little crunched was when it came time to prepping meals in the kitchen. This home is so well stocked with linens, fans, blankets, and the kitchen had everything you would ever need. We brought crab boil supplies only to find the house was already stocked with everything! Two of the bedrooms also had closets that worked perfectly for baby sleeping areas. The location of this house couldn't be better. You step out from the back patio directly onto the sand. It's amazing. We underestimated how cold the water would be, so no swimming this time, but it was fun walking down to the ocean and dipping our toes in the water. Thank you to the home owners for sharing their beautiful place with our family, we had a great time with many fun memories.

This property beautifully met our expectations! There was ample room for each of us to find quiet corners and gathering space. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked and we did not want for anything. Kids enjoyed the garage game room. Listening to the ocean waves and watching the stars from the upstairs views; so peaceful! The best part...walk out the door to a wonderful quiet beach. Ultimate Beach house

Really exceptional beach house. Modern and updated where needed but still holding that beach-house look/fell. Step off the deck to a giant sand box, then a 100' walk to the beach. Very few people at this beach and it's huge. Loved walking up and down and letting the dog run free.

The house is unique as it has views/decks that face both directions. The back is the ocean and the front is the bay. Tons of light. Great master upstairs and convenient down stairs bedroom for stair-unfriendly folks. Note there's no shower downstairs. Really loved the "windowed-in" porches on both levels.

Nice pool/foos tables in garage along with sand castle tools and nice kites. 5 minutes from town and the two restaurants (Hilltop is money). 20 minutes from Newport and their many restaurants plus fresh fish off the boat from Chelsea Rose Seafood.

Great peaceful retreat. Will be back.

We stayed with our children and friends in this very nice home. It was cozy, but had enough room for us all to move around. Our favorite part of the home was that the beach was literally out the back door. Hard wood floors made cleaning the sand a bit easier. The master bedroom has a gorgeous view of the ocean. Even in the fall we had a wonderful stay!

Thank you for sharing your house with us. It is a beautiful home and was so relaxing. I recently lost my husband and one of our favorite places to go was the coast so it was bitter sweet but was so needed. We saw whales from the 2nd floor several times. We rent homes every year on the Oregon Coast and this is my new favorite! It was so wonderful to be able to bring my babies this time. They enjoyed being with mom too ???? We will be back!!

This home is well prepared for a large group of people to thoroughly enjoy every aspect of ocean life! Whether you want to make good quality meals in its double ovens or large range top, keep everyone sand free but still enjoying the beach with its two sun porches, or cozy up to a game-nap-reading in its handfuls of pleasant sitting spots... you will be treated like royalty here. The extras include hotel like service with a plethora of towels and hot water capacity, the pool table and foosball table and the optional gym experience. All in All... Highly recommend the house and the location... everything oceany is within a half an hour if you ever want to leave the house!

This house is exactly as the website describes and as wonderful as the reviews say. No hidden unpleasant surprises. Plenty of Space for "Our 10th Year Traditional" Beach vacation with family. Stayed 8 nights with 13 of us, ages 8 to 69. Grandkids loved Boogie boarding, playing in the sand right off the deck. The house was well stocked with everything imaginable,spices, extra linens and clean towels only a phone call away. Had pizza at Central Station right in Waldport, vey good. Went into Newport for most activities. Brought our own crab pots and had a Great crab Feast from our Catch in the Bay. You will Love this house!

We just returned from 4 nights here and loved it. There were 7 of us, ranging in ages from 6 to 74. The sand is right off the deck, so the younger grandchildren could play in the sand as much as they wanted while we watched from the deck or house. The ocean is just up over a small sand dune and the beach is beautiful -- long and flat. We loved the views - the ocean off one side, and the bay and bridge the other direction. We used the Club House for two days. It was wonderful to have that available so the kids could swim. Well worth the usage fee.

We stayed here 6 nights with 2 families with 4 children aged 12 to 15 yrs old. We used the futon in the upstairs porch as a bedroom. The children loved the extra living room upstairs and especially the pool table and the table soccer game in the garage! Kitchen is complete with all possible utensils. No airco but you do not need that even in summer with temperatures around 65-70 F. Beach was great, very quiet even in high season with a daily view of seals just around the corner at the harbor entrance. Hardly used the (multiple) TV sets, just walked the beach, lived on the deck and read many books. The kids playing soccer on the beach or in the garage. Friendly neighboring families. Swimming pool in beach club more suited to small children, our children had a look but declined. Supermarket in Waldport well stocked, large Safeway in nearby Newport. Pet friendly house with some evidence of previous inhabitants. House right on a dune, so sand gets everywhere! But that is what we came for!

The house is exactly how it's on website! This was our first beach vacation with family gathering from multiple places. The house, the beach and the whole place is so mesmerizing.... It was a perfect getaway with family which turned out to be far better than what we had ever expected. The sand dunes started right from the deck and the view of ocean from every corner of the property was amazing!!! We walked on the beach for miles, flew kites, just chilled on the beach and kids played and enjoyed the sand every bit of their stay. We stayed for 3 nights and never left the beach until 9. Even for our extensive cooking the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. The rooms and beds were clean and didn't feel something was missing. We came back with lovely memories and lots of pictures. Friends had been asking about the house and the place. Thanks for sharing the house with us! We definitely wanna come back again and recommend it to friends!

The house was perfect! The house is right on the beach, so you can walk off the back porch onto the sand. The views from both floors are gorgeous, both out the front and back of the house. We had 11 people with us and with the futon and the sleeping mats; everyone was able to asleep quite comfortably. The two sun porches, the two living rooms and the sitting area in the master bedroom make for plenty of little nooks to sit and read or sit and chat. I will definitely be renting it again.

What a wonderful location for a family get-together. The house is one of the older ones along the beach, but it was in very good condition, it had everything we needed for a good weekend, and it felt like a home. We're already planning and saving for when we can come back.

We had an awesome weekend! My husband was worried that we would feel crowded and that it would be too much trouble to cook instead of eating out. There was plenty of space for us to gather comfortably for meals and to spread out and enjoy the beach. We enjoyed many walks along the beach, the Newport Aquarium, the tide pools, light houses, and found that having a kitchen to cook meals in was more relaxing than going out to restaurants. The Wi-Fi worked great, we looked up the tide cycles and were able to catch the tide pools at low tide. We can hardly wait to come back again!
